Tengu is very weary and defensive around new people. The reason for this is because he's almost always guarding the Dark Moon Princess and every person he's met seemed to want to get at her. And because he's naive, he often gets tricked into doing things and tasks for people, which is how he ended up guarding the Princess. The only field he isn't naive in is combat. Once he gets to know someone better he's a bit mischievous, or simply when he doesn't like someone. Overall he's pretty quiet.

Tengu is also a bit of a hothead and hates it when people confuse him for a girl. That will definitely set him off.
